travel // las vegas
I’m so excited to share some photos of my Anni-moon with Mr. Lovely last week! We took a quick road trip to Vegas and the Grand Canyon. We’ll talk about that big hole in the ground tomorrow, but for today, let’s get to Vegas!
We spent a night there on the way to Arizona and a night on the way back, so we decided to switch up our hotels just for funsies. On the way there, we booked the Four Seasons. They’ve got a gorgeous, low-key pool and a super delicious breakfast, so hit both of those if you can! Or if you’re into a little more craziness at the pool you can use the Mandalay Bay wave pool and lazy river. We tried both but decided almost right away that we wanted to stay away from the crowds. I loved it here because it wasn’t your typical Vegas party crowd — it was a little more laid back.
Next we stayed at the Cosmopolitan, which was a completely different vibe. It’s a much younger crowd and has more of a party vibe, but we were just dying for the style of the place! All of the interior choices were so cool — textiles, furniture pieces, wallpaper, you name it!
The Cosmo also has three pools to choose from, and we chose the chill one again (old people that we are). My recommendation is to toss on your suit and head to the pool for lunch — the fish tacos, lettuce wraps, and quesadilla are perfect for sharing. (Toss in a mojito and you might never want to leave).
And if that’s not enough to get you there, check out the view from the rooms:
I mean, what else could you ask for? All in all, Vegas did us good. When was the last time you were in Vegas? And what do you love to do there — are you a gambler, a partier, or a chill-outer? I’d love to hear your faves! xoxo
